Today I am showing some weird test beds for ARM processors. The Raspie rack has been fast fabricated by L.V. and is being used for the lectures.
A Cubie shelf top testbed was created to test some powering concepts … and then forgotten for months 🙂 . The current is so low only because one of the Cubies has somehow managed escape the torture 😉 Both boards idling together consume 160-230mA.
Das Kühler is for the same purpose that a monk has the d*ck for – на всякий случай. Or to be honest, to keep the HDD temperature low.
Different Cubie models in action:
PSU is a Kepco MRW161KV that provides +5V at max 6A current. A cheap Chinese measuring device indicates the actual values for Volts and Amperes (and, due to its scanning frequency, it is relatively hard to shot).
